Announcement about Women of Drummer Regional Gatherings:
Women of Drummer are organizing five regional gatherings this summer in Phoenix, Toronto, Kansas City, Portland and Atlanta. Our gatherings will be on a Saturday and include a (1) Leatherwomen’s Round Table Discussion in the morning, (2) #DNAnagins with our brothers in the afternoon, and a (3) Womens’ Play Party in the evening. Tentative dates are as follows:
Phoenix, AZ: May 20th
Toronto, CN: June 10th
Kansas City, MO: June 24th
Atlanta, GA: July 15th
Portland, OR: July 29th
The Women of Drummer Movement is a celebration of our voice, fierceness, hotness and dignity in leather. We encourage ALL self-identified women to join in our activities. This is a movement to represent our fierceness, leather, and support women on their own path. You will find Women of Drummer representatives at many events throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico throughout the year.
More information about our gatherings will be provided as venues and times are confirmed in each region. Please consider joining us at our summer gatherings and for the first ever #2018 Women of Drummer Contest in Vegas during President’s Day weekend next year. Details of our Women of Drummer Contest will be shared at our summer gatherings and contest applications will be made available November 1, 2017.

Women of Drummer Mission Statement:
We, the fierce, sexy, playful, leather, female sexual outlaws of North America come together to share ideas, collaborate, and celebrate who we are. This is not another conference, this is an opportunity to connect with one another. This is not another contest, this is a chance to encourage our sisters to represent our playful way of life. We celebrate our love for our leather brothers, but this is OUR movement. We speak with our own voices, walk our own path fiercely with grace and dignity, and enjoy ourselves in our leather. We dance to the rhythm of our own drum. Welcome to the #womanofdrummer movement!
Founded in January, 2017, the Women of Drummer contest rekindles the traditions of self-identified gay and queer leather women at an annual family reunion where history is honored and diversity respected. During DNA weekend with our brothers, we come together to choose our representative for the year. While the Women of Drummer contest is exclusively for self-identified gay and/or queer, leather, female contestants residing in Canada, United States or Mexico, drummer North America weekend embraces and welcomes our kinky brothers, kinky sisters and queer family to join and participate in the celebration of Woman of Drummer.
